Sunday Worship Service @9:55AM

Our blended worship experience incorporates traditional and contemporary hymns, and a youth/young adult Praise Band.

Holy Communion is celebrated each First Sunday, and on each of the Sundays of Lent and Advent.

Worship leadership is shared among the congregation, and special music or an anthem by our Choir adds to the worship each Sunday.

An informal time of fellowship and refreshment follows the service.

Welcome!

Welcome to La Verne United Methodist Church Website. We want to thank you for your interest in the church. ALL are very welcomed in the love of God, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Our mission at La Verne United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by practicing 3-Es — Embracing, Encouraging, and Empowering — in our everyday lives of the church community.

  • Embracing Jesus’ message of love, we invite all people to be a part of God’s community.
  • Encouraging growth, we nurture and strengthen each other in the Christian faith.
  • Empowering that we go forth to be the hands, hearts, and mind of Christ in the world.

At LVUMC there is opportunity to faithfully, humbly, and joyfully carry out Jesus’ great commission for making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).

Our doors are open to all and we invite you to join us in our mission. If you would like to explore any of the activities and programs mentioned please contact the church using the information on the Contact page. We look forward to serving your spiritual needs and joining you on your faith journey.

Our backgrounds and experiences may be different but we affirm that we are one in the love of Jesus Christ and in the family of God. May God bless you!
